Friday Films

today is the first entry of friday films!  honestly am a little excited to be sharing this short wedding film.  it was not an official booking of mine, i was actually second shooting this wedding for a fellow photographer this past summer.  i had the photog’s & the couples’ blessing to take some footage of their wedding day, and have been playing around with different ways of editing their little snippets that i had captured throughout the day.  have to admit that it was a lot of fun & learning to expand beyond my usual style of editing.

for this short film, i was going for a vintage/8mm feel.  i chose to go this route, as my role was to be the second shooter to the photographer. that ment that the sound was sketchy, was not guaranteed to get all the ‘happenings’ of the day, and i knew they would be short clips.  knowing this, i felt it would be a fun challenge to go for a vintage/8mm look/feel.
