New Year, Same Me

hello blog.  feels like its been forever since i have been here…  well it kinda has, it today’s way of looking at it – more like how milenials, or is it mileniums..  not sure, ha!  7 months may as well be forever..

new year, same me.  so true!  & i love that about me.  i feel as i have come to terms with so many of the things that i thought i wanted to change about myself..  and when i say ‘come to terms’, i really mean embrace these oddities/quarks/etc..  i am me & i am truly loving who i am and who i stand for..  spoken like a true 30-something, ha!  not saying that i don’t have areas of improvement or weight i need to loose or personality traits that i need to work on..  everyone has stuff to work on.  i am saying that as a whole, i am happy.  time to embrace it and move on with that feeling of knowing me, same ol’ me!

as new years come, it seems to be strange that this is the time that everyone makes change, resolutions, goals, whatever..  i am not saying that i don’t do just that, as i do.  although this year i feel as though change is going to happen no only new years day, but i am going to make a point to change what i feel needs to be changed as i go..  day to day, month to month, maybe minute to minute..  my one change that i started on new years day was one for not only me, but also my business.  i have decided to post a video every week.  i did not limit my creativeness with a schedule or expectation of what these videos will consist of or expectations of the videos..  i kinda made my first change a simple and quite open to interpretation.  (as i know myself, and had to beat back the part of me that wanted to make some grand idea or ridiculous schedule)  KISS – keep it simply simple.

you may be like, ‘so?’, when reading this.  well, i’m writing this blog post to keep myself accountable.  kinda selfish on my end, ya i know – and honestly do not care what you, the reader, think!  i can write this, as i know that there is so very few who actually read this.  well, i now feel bad by writing that i do not care what the reader thinks, i do..  but i know that i have 0 people who constantly follow, so whateve’s  ;0)

i have a strange feeling that you are expecting my first video to follow all this rambling..  well, another thing you need to learn about me – if you do not already know – is for personal projects especially, i like to wait ’til the last minute…  not because i have procrastinated, well maybe a bit, but because i usually have a few ideas/projects going at the same time..  life as a creative, or maybe it is just my scatter-brain.. i prefer to refer to my self as a creative, ha!  so instead of a video, which you can look forward to seeing posted on friday, i will leave you with my first photo, ya its from my iphone 4s (many may think that that was a typo, but i do still have that old phone – which is another topic, for another day haha)
