i grew up of a farm, cattle & grain.

having that as part of my experience, i really have a deep appreciation for those who feed the masses, farmers.

{or ranchers – as they are called here in Texas}

it is a part of me that i cannot escape, not that i would want to.  i am forever planting, harvesting, pinching off, feeding, watering, planning…  i love my green thumb and the hoards of plants that follow us around the country show it.

living in the southern United States, it has opened up a year-round garden, no matter what our location!

although, the harvests are not bountiful as a garden would be – but equally enjoyed!!
